Zix Corp Projects

The Challenge

ZIX Corp, an email encryption software company, partnered with Google to develop a custom email encryption solution called GAME (though the specific meaning of the acronym is unclear). They enlisted our team to redesign the administrative interface of their software application.

My primary responsibility was to create an intuitive and manageable user experience. The original interface was a large table with numerous columns and call-to-action buttons positioned on the right. I reimagined the layout by transforming the columns into cards, each containing its respective CTAs. This design eliminated the need for users to repeatedly scroll to the top to reference column headers, significantly improving usability. I also developed an infographic to showcase the benefits of Google GAME.

The redesigned interface resulted in a much more intuitive user experience, enhancing productivity and resolving key usability issues.

Beyond the software UI improvements, I also developed a marketing campaign to promote ZIX Corp's email threat detection technology and created a digital-friendly summary of their BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) employee survey.
